I felt like writing down the necessary things required for every naturalista to have,mostly for someone who just went natural. This are just the few things you will need. That's why it's a MUST HAVE...
1.)AFRO COMB: This is necessary. It helps to add volume to your TWA by lifting them with this comb. The comb is easy to carry around and quite cheap...
2.)SPRAY BOTTLE: Especially those with the 4b and 4c texture of hair. Their hair seems to dry out often. Carrying one around aint a crime.
What's in the bottle??? 3/4 warm water,1/4 of your personal conditioner and two to three drops of your favourite oils. This is just to help comb out the hair and equally prevent dryness. You could construct your own personal bottle from empty containers if you cant buy one.
I personall love spraying my hair in the middle of the day.
3.)WIDE TOOTH COMB: I love using this to part my hair rather than a rat tail comb. Even if am trying to get out the knots. I still spritz my hair with water and comb through with the wide tooth comb.
4.)DEEP & LEAVE IN CONDITIONER: This are essential for your wash day. You might not deep conditioner but a leave in conditioner is very important. This is for added protection and moisture.
5.)SHAMPOO: This is for also for washing. I recommend a moisturizing shampoo. It helps to repair the damage done to our hair by the sun and external element. So,it's a plus...
6.)BOBBY PINS: Ever had trouble pinning down those twist outs??? You should add bobby pins to your collections. They are great for styling. They equally come in different colours...
7.)CURL PUDDING: Get the ones without petroleum. The petroleum tend to weigh down your hair,leaving unwanted build up. Its really great for styling and makes the curls shinny.
Some popular ones are the cantu moisturizing twist and lock gel,miss jessie's curly pudding and so on.
8.)OILS: From olive oil,castor oil,coconut oil to jojoba oil and the rest. Oils are great. For styling and moisturizing. It could also be added as part of your hot oil treatment and pree poos...
