My 'A TO Z' Of A Healthy Natural Hair

Hey guys, I decided to compell my very own 'A TO Z' Of a healthy natural hair. Am gonna be listing out the necessary ones. The ones we can't obviously do without. It's my own compilation from my experiences... Don't freak out if my letter doesn't matches yours.

A(ALOE): aloe vera is a great addition to the hair regimen. I sometimes substitute it for water in my spray bottle.

B(BOTANICAL): botanical ingredients make for a happy hair example is the pure honey.

C(CLEANSING): Cleansing has to be regular.

D(DETANGLING): learn to detangle with love, patience and care. Give it time.

E(ELONGATION): Elongation or stretching of   curls/hair comes from styling technique and not products. I  learnt this in the short run.

F(FRIZZY HAIR): frizzy or tight hair can be tamed with cool water rinse  after conditioning and dry with a t-shirt and not a towel.

G(GROWTH): Every hair grows at an average of half an inch each year. Don't freak out thinking yours ain't growing.

H(HEAT): Heat protectants products are helpful. They help prevent the hair from heat damage.

I(INCOPORATE): Incorporate one new product at a time to determine its effectiveness. Avoid using too many under a short interval.

J(JOURNALING): Journaling can help you keep track of  your hair goals and progress. I did this. It helped.

K(KNOWLEDGE): Know your hair's likes and dislikes.

L(LOVE): Love your hair for everything it is and everything it is not.

M(MOISTURE): moisture comes from water not products.

N(NIGHTTIME): Nighttime routines should   include a satin head covering or a satin pillow case to retain moisture always.

O(OVERNIGHT): Overnight conditioning is overkill. It can create limp, lifeless hair. 4-6hrs is okay. Study what's best for you.

P(PATIENCE): Patience is the key to a happy, successful hair journey.

Q(QUESTIONS): Question potential stylists, hair gurus until you feel satisfied.

R(RESIST): Resist the urge to try every single new product you hear about. Am a victim of this.

S(SEALING): Sealing with natural oils helps to retain moisture in between washes.

T(TRIMMING): Trimming is the key to retaining length.

U(UNDOING): Undo tight ponytails or other   restrictive banding to prevent stress on the hairline.

V(VITAMINS): Vitamins are helpful. Hair vitamins or diet vitamins? Whichever.

W(WATER): This is my hair's best friend. Make it yours too.

X(XPECT): E(X)pect and embrace bad hair days.

Y(YOUGURT): An excellent source of protein for your regimen.

Z(ZINC): Zinc deficiency can lead to hair loss.  Watch your diet.

That's it. My 'A TO Z' Of a healthy natural hair.... Got any useful tip for any of the letters? Comment below. Do share with us which letter inspired and caught your attention... STAY BLESSED.
